This popular backpack material is made stronger and more abrasion resistant by a Dyneema fiber reinforcement grid on top of the base ripstop pattern.

The Dyneema grid also results in exceptional style="text-decoration: underline; tear and tensile strength compared to many 100% or fabrics without reinforcement.

This fabric is waterproof/non-breathable with a PU coating on the backside and front.

This style Gridstop fabric has been used for years by the best in the business and is commonly seen in high-end backpacks and other gear. It has a base weave of nylon 6 and Dyneema content equaling ~9% of the total fabric weight.

Typical uses include backpacks, pouches, reinforcement areas, or any application that will see a lot of wear and abrasion. Examples include such activities as climbing, long distance hiking, etc.
